About Me - Andrea

Ciao buona gente, mi chiamo Andrea ed ho una sviscerata passione per la musica sin dalla tenera età.Come avrete capito sono un batterista e picchio tamburi e piatti sin da quando avevo 12 anni.Ora sono vicino ai trenta e le mie esperienze nel campo musicale sono molteplici.

Ho suonato svariati generi di musica e di conseguenza sono diventato molto versatile,come del resto un buon professionista deve essere.Amo profondamente il Jazz, che considero la musica più difficile da suonare in assoluto,ma non disdegno la Fusion, il Rock, il Reggae e la musica leggera in generale.

Negli ultimi 2 anni,che per altro ho vissuti in Kenya, mi sono impegnato nel canto e devo dire,ascoltando le registrazioni dei concerti,di essere abbastanza contento di me stesso.Sono comunque convinto che non si è mai finito di imparare,è l'unico modo per migliorarsi.ogni giorno. In Kenya ho collaborato con molti dei gruppi emergenti, ho suonato musica africana, Jazz in molti dei suoi aspetti, Rap, Reggae e via dicendofino al Rock, che tra l'altro è abbastanza seguito.

Complessivamente è stata una buona esperienza ed ho lasciato là molti amici che rivedrò sicuramente.Un'altra cosa che amo è viaggiare per il Mondo, dovrebbe essere naturale per un musicista di professione, ma ho notato che non sempre è così. Hello good people, my name is Andrea and I've got a strong passion for music since I was a kid. As you can see I'm a drummer and I hit the skins and the cymbals since I was twelve. Now I'm nearly thirty and I have collected various experiences.

I have performed,in studio and live,many different styles of music and I became quite versatyle. I really love Jazz, I think it is the most difficult music to play, but I don't dislike Fusion, Rock, Reggae and generally the commercial music.

I spent the last two years in Kenya where I have begun to sing and after listening to my live recordings, I dare say that I can be,more or less,happy with myself. I believe anyway there is always room for improvement, it's the only way to get better and better every day. In Kenya I collaborated with many of the standing out bands, and I played African music, Jazz in its various styles, Reggae, Rap and also Rock that has got a quite nice following.

Overall it has been a nice experience, and I left there many good friends that I'll see again for sure What else? I love travellig round the World,that should be natural for a professional musician, but I noticed it's not always like that.
